Absolutely. The country is at peace, with tourists visiting in record numbers and experiencing the prevailing sense of peace, safety, and stability while enjoying the pristine beauty of the small island nation. When conducting our tours, we prioritize the safety and security of our tourists.

The best time to visit Sri Lanka is generally from November to March when the weather is dry and pleasant. However, the highlands are cooler, and the east coast is ideal from April to September.

Most travelers visiting Sri Lanka for tourism purposes can obtain an ETA online orget a visa on arrival. The process for obtaining a Sri Lanka ETA can fully be done online. The ETA allows for a short stay, typically up to 30 days.

Visa policies can change and can vary based on your nationality and the purpose and duration of your visit. It is therefore crucial to check with the relevant authorities or the official Sri Lankan government website for the latest and most accurate information regarding visa requirements.

Yes, it’s customary to remove your shoes when entering someone’s home or a temple. It’s also polite to ask for permission before taking photographs of people. Modest clothing is appreciated, especially when visiting religious sites. While casual wear is generally acceptable, it’s advisable to cover your shoulders and knees when entering temples or other sacred places.

If you have a ‘dual band’ and unlocked phone, you can choose a local SIM and top-up cards (recharge cards) from several mobile operators, including Dialog, Mobitel, Etisalat, Hutch, and Airtel. Dialog has a counter at Katunayake Airport where you can purchase a connection for Rs. 1500/=.

Toddy is a natural drink tapped from palm trees, and fermented and refined Toddy becomes Arrack. Imported beer and foreign liquors are available as well and priced similarly to most Western countries.

While water is generally clean and safe for consumption in Sri Lanka, it is recommended to avoid drinking tap water during your tour. Bottled water is the safer option. This precaution is suggested to allow your body sufficient time to adapt to any potential differences in the water source.
